Toothbrush
Say yes to these bamboo toothbrushes. Cheaper, better for our planet, and as good on your teeth as name brand brushes.
Our Bamboo Toothbrushes are made from sustainably harvested bamboo and nylon 6 bristles. Nylon 6 is soft and has low water absorption, which is more hygienic. For now, there is not a plant-based bristle that works as well as the nylon does.
The bristles are soft and clean your teeth and gums gently. Replace every 3 months.
Our teens prefer these toothbrushes even over the much more expensive plastic brands.
Recycle instructions:
- Bristles in a recycling bin (pluck with tweezers or snap the brush head off)
- Bamboo in biowaste bin or home composter
Our bamboo toothbrushes are made in China, where bamboo grows in abundance, by Zero Waste Cartel. Bamboo grows without pesticides and fertilizer, releases 35% more oxygen than trees and grows very fast. The bamboo is harvested sustainable and the toothbrushes are manufactured in China as well to reduce the carbon footprint.
Zero waste Cartel works closely with the manufacturer to make sure the workers are treated well, have a safe work environment and are paid fairly.
For every order Zero Waste Cartel gets in they will plant a tree.
Our toothbrushes are soft, which is what dentists recommend. They also advise changing your toothbrush every 3 months.
